You are entrusting your information to us during the stressful moving process so we want to ensure that you have faith in the integrity and security of the service our company provides.

The Policy covers all sites ending with the URL (referred to as the "Site") and all products and services (referred to as the "Service") within the Site. The Policy does not bind or apply to any secondary resource or third party (referred to as "Third Party") that Moveboxer does not control.

2. Use and Collection of Information

Upon registering with the Site, we ask for the following information:

  • First and Last Name
  • Dwelling Size
  • Origination Zip Code
  • Destination Zip Code
  • Move Date
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address

From time to time, we might ask for additional information in order to provide you with more of the benefits of the Service.

Moveboxer, with your permission in using the Site, will pass your contact information along to the moving company or related companies that are best for you, your move date, and your moving geography. Moveboxer may aggregate personal information and disclose such data only in a non-personally identifiable way to the following:

  • Companies and organizations approved by Moveboxer that conduct research into consumer spending;
  • Users of the Service so they can compare their inventories relative to the aggregate whole; and
  • Advertisers and other Third Parties for their marketing and promotional purposes, such as how many Moveboxer customers (referred to as "Users") clicked on a particular feature within Moveboxer.

The information that we share with moving companies and related moving services companies will identify you individually. The information that we aggregate for other parties will not identify you individually. Access to your personal information is given to individuals that have been selected in accordance with our security policies and practices. In some cases, we will use Third Parties to help with security, analyze web usage, and send e-mail messages on behalf of the Service. These Third Parties include, but are not limited to, Google Analytics and Amazon's Elastic Cloud (EC2).

3. Third Party Advertising and External Links

The Site may work with Third Parties to provide advertising on the Site that is relevant to the User. Third Parties may use non-personal information about your visits to this and other websites to provide advertisements about goods and services that might be of interest to you. In doing so, the Third Party may place or recognize a unique cookie (small text files a website puts on your computer to store information about your browsing that the site can access at later sessions) on your computer's hard drive. Cookies cannot be used by themselves to identify you.

Third Parties will not be given access to your personal information without your express consent.

The Site contains links to other websites that are operated by unrelated Third Parties and therefore, these other websites are not under our control. These websites have their own privacy policies that you should review before using them. We have no responsibility for linked websites nor do we have any responsibility for the privacy practices of third-party linked websites or products.

We may be required to share your personal information or non-personal information pursuant to judicial or governmental subpoenas, warrants, or court orders or other legal processes. If we are required to do so, we will comply with the law.

5. Affiliates

We currently do not have a parent company, joint ventures, subsidiaries, or other companies under common control with us (referred to as "Affiliates"), but we may in the future. You agree that we can share some or all of the information of our Users with these Affiliates. Our Affiliates will be required to comply with the current Privacy Policy.

We provide email communication to all Users including, but not limited to, newsletters and promotional messages. As a User, you can opt-out of this communication; however this will not end transmission of Service-related email alerts.

7. Your Secure Data

We use a combination of authentication procedures, encryption techniques, firewall barriers, and others to maintain the integrity and security of your information. The online sessions you have with Moveboxer are all encrypted, which enables applications to communicate to prevent eavesdropping, message forgery, and tampering.

You as the User are responsible for keeping your username and password safe and secure.

8. Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future contracts from us at any time. In addition, you can do the following at any time by contacting us via e-mail (
